I was playing with canvas size and tried to make a very tiny canvas to see the end result.

Very early in my digital art career. I think I was still figuring out how to draw at this point.

maybe in the future when they’re trying to decipher the early, pre-emoji internet, they’ll stumble across this comic and it’ll be like a Rosetta Stone for emoticons.

This is one of my few attempts at a single-panel gag comic.

Going back over these is like re-discovering journal entries and remembering my different values and priorities at that time versus now.

There was a webcomic that updated in the early ’00s with this stick guy, but for the life of me I can’t remember the title now. It went on hiatus and never returned.
