Shatner Yoda and Chibi Spock. I still like this design. I might try to make a t-shirt out of it or something.

One of the first things I ever drew in copic markers. I had never picked them up before this. Weird fantasy setting.

When I moved to Minneapolis I did so with my boyfriend at the time. He worked at a design studio there (briefly before returning to Canada) called Fuzzy Duck Design.

Hot Showers $7.
My dad was an old surfer who followed a good wave break down the coast to Quatros Casas, Baja Mexico. We had a trailer, a porch, a place for tents for the kids, no running water, no electricity, and we hauled down everything, but it was our “Vacation home,” in the middle of an impoverished part of the country. There was a house there with a fugitive from the US living there who advertised room space for the wave break there (in a HOUSE) but because you had to haul your own water he had a water truck make a delivery about once a month. He had a generator for a water heater, but most people bought the cold showers there.

This was one of my first tries at coloring things in Photoshop, circa Photoshop 7.0. The linework was off of the back of a legal pad that I scanned in and blew the hell out of to make it black lines of white instead of the cream it was originally.
